A serviceable second floor layer raised above the structural slab.
Raised flooring is a second floor layer built above a building’s structural concrete slab. Supported on metal pedestals and stringers and generally made up of modular panels, it can be lifted out and replaced with ease — a great convenience for maintenance and for changes to the services running beneath the floor.
Raised floors are very easy to maintain — a panel can simply be lifted out whenever access to the area beneath the floor is needed.
